STAINLESS STEEL
Type 302
The general purpose 18/8 Cr/Ni grade can be cold worked to high tensile strengths.
Good corrosion resistance.
Type 304
Low carbon higher nickel version of 302
Type 316
Improved corrosion and resistance, due to addition of molybdenum.
APLICATION
Orthodontic wires & connectors, fishing tackle braiding, weaving, medical and food industries

Nickel silver (German silver)

Type NS106
Alloys notable for their good corrosion resistance and attractive colour.
The range of alloys becomes progressively whiter with increased nickel content.
Excellent cold formability readily soldered or brazed.
APLICATION
Jewellery, connectors, cutlery and medical
Brass
Type CZ106
70/30 Brass. Maximum ductility of the Cu-Zn alloys.
Often chosen for deep drawing
Type CZ107-108
Excellent cold working alloy. General purpose alloy, for simple forming operation.
GALVANISED IRON
Processing with low carbon steel wire, through drawing and electric galvanizing
APLICATION
Widely used in medical equipment, weaved mesh, brush, tight wire, filter slice, high pressure pipe, architecture and art craft.
